As a Financial Technology startup, Finch needed to establish itself as a brand from the ground up. They started by securing a name and identifying customer personas, then brought on eDesign to give a “face” to the Finch brand. Our team got to work right away, developing a logo, brand guidelines, and a robust online landing page all within an uber-tight timeline of 4 months.
We aimed to design a logo that resonated with the inspiration behind the Finch name—a bird from the Galapagos Islands known for its unique, evolutionary beak. The eDesign team crafted a logo that subtly yet effectively incorporates bird-like features, ensuring it functions well in both standard and standalone app settings. Following this, we developed comprehensive brand guidelines that laid the foundation for the aesthetic of the websites and landing pages. At the core of these pages is a 3D animation that vividly illustrates the dual aspects of the Finch experience, complemented by smart UX design, dynamic motion elements, an interactive calculator, a WordPress-powered blog, and more.
Although the site was only recently launched, the client has already received positive feedback from internal stakeholders, customers, and investors. There are also early indicators of increased engagement on the site. The Finch team praised eDesign for their excellent work, as reflected in positive industry reviews and client referrals.
